While this seems like a good choice for combating freeze decks, it's only good if they don't have a Winter Squash - one of the said deck's staples.

If you play this for the first ability, then it can be good to save it for turn 7 or 8 to be able to buff it so it survives longer, just watch out for tricks.

All of the usual Gargantuar stuff can be used with this, like Wizard Garg with Immorticia and Gargologist with The Smash. The one gargantuar you should never play with this is Gargolith because it will completely negate the stat boost given by his primary ability.

While this can seem like a large threat, the abilities are really not that dangerous if you play smart. Smarty heroes should watch out for using freezing tricks, but that's really it. +1/1 is not all that dangerous, given that most cards have at least 2 attack, rendering the ability useless.

Like most other large zombies, the standard tricks can be played to stop this - Shamrocket, Squash, Tactical Cuke, Doom Shroom, and others. Most of, if not all, of these can be played on the same turn this was to stop it from growing.
